Boondocking Trailers = No hookup site needed
All of our units are designed for boondocking (dry camping) and are delivered with enough battery power, propane and water to last a minimum of 4 nights. There is a 12 volt charger in most of our units that can be used to charge your mobile devices so bring your cigarette light charger from your vehicle if you have one.
Saving battery power is your most major concern while camping away from city hook-ups.
Conservative use of all electrical equipment will play heavily on your battery reserve. Use the lights on the lowest light setting suitable and turn off all lights when the trailer is not in use.
The roof vent fans and the furnace fan are particularly drawing of your battery power, in the winter keep your interior temperature as low as you are comfortable with and turn the furnace off during the day if the trailers not actively being used. The Airstream trailers are all very well insulated including the top, sides and floors.
The interiors of all our units are equipped with vintage looking LED lighting which also helps extend your battery life.
We do not offer generators as part of our rentals, it is recommended that for boondocking stays over 4 nights a small RV generator is rented. Please let us know if we can help you find a local rental company that provides generators, we would be happy to recommend someone. Our charge to come and replace a dead battery is $60 for our local service areas in the G.V.A.
There is an additional 1.25 per km delivery charge for locations outside of the Greater Victoria area.

But you can hook up if you want to - Full Hook Up Sites
If you are not sure that your family will be good at water / battery conservation it is recommended for stays over 4 nights that you
book a full hook up site and that will ensure that you will have a vacation without any service issues. Please consider your families needs when making your RV campsite reservation.

Awning
The use of awnings is the sole responsibility of the renter. Should you not wish to be responsible for possible damages, please
leave the awnings retracted.
During the orientation we will show you the proper use and operation of the awning if you do choose to use it.
NEVER, ever leave awnings open in the wind!
NEVER operate the awning near your campfire or in proximity of where sparks may harm the fabric!
NEVER leave the awning out while sleeping.
NEVER leave an open awning un-attended in case the winds pick up while you are away.

Booking, Damage, Cleaning Deposit
Your booking, damage, cleaning deposit will be returned to you within 3 days once the unit has been returned and we have
inspected it to ensure it has been cleaned, interior accessories and decor is all intact, and it is without damage and is in
good working order. Should the unit be returned in an unclean condition a fee will be charged for cleanup. The cleanup fee
will be deducted from your deposit, the amount charged is dependant on how much cleaning needs to be done. Do not wash
the exterior of the trailers, particular care is needed when washing the polished aluminum so we will do that.

If neglegent damage does occur your deposit will be used to cover the cost of the repairs or pay any insurance deductibles.
All repair charges will be documented and should damages/repairs exceed the amount of the deposit the Renter who has agreed
to these terms and conditions authorizes additional charges to be applied to his/her credit card or to remit full payment of the
repair costs by cash on request. The Renter agrees to pay all charges in excess and agrees to not dispute these charges.
If repairs are required during your rental period you must call us at 250-884-8641 for pre-authorization before any parts are
purchased or any repairs are made. In the case of an accident a police report must be filed and Camping in a Can must be
notified immediately.

Any damages to the interior or exterior of the rented unit and all related costs are the sole responsibility of the Renter named
in this agreement. This includes damages caused by negligence, abuse, neglect, a third party or acts of nature(wind, rain,
fire, flood etc.), for example not retracting the awning during a wind storm.

Wear and Tear
That said regular wear and tear is to be expected and understandable and you will not be held liable for that, if you notice
anything needing our attention please let us know so we can repair it for the next renters.
