This enjoyable and thorough course covers every aspect of how to be a Personal Trainer. You’ll learn how to safely design programs for your clients, work around issues and how to do thorough assessments and much more. This course prepares you for your Instructor Competency Evaluation (ICE) as well as the BCRPA exam. From adequate nutrition to the latest training principles we train you how to be Personal Trainer and give your clients the best possible chance at success! The course materials include Body Blueprint’s Personal Trainer’s Manual & Workbook.
As this is a condensed course, there will be a pre-course quiz to bring in the first day and there will be a little homework with this course.
Please note that if you wish to be BCRPA-certified as a Personal Trainer, this is the third course of 3 (Fitness Theory, Weight Training, and Personal Training). You must first register with BCRPA as a Fitness Leader (complete the Fitness Theory course, BCRPA exam, First Aid and CPR, and BCRPA registration). Then you may enter the Weight Training course. Following the Weight Training course, you will need to complete your practical exam (ICE). After that you have to complete 20 Weight Training program as a prerequisite for the Personal Training course. Then you may take the Personal Training course. Following this, you will have a BCRPA written exam and ICE (contact us for more details).
