Sisters Kara & Cedar Sorensen are making plans for their fifth retreat in Bali at Bagus Jati Resort & Spa. Their passion is to share the gifts of yoga, wellness & healing, as well as the adventure of travel & the unique, deep & rich culture of Bali with others in a way that honors and respects the land and people. After living & traveling in Bali for over ten years now, they've discovered many gems & hidden treasures to share. They do all the planning for you, so that you are able take full advantage of your time away to deeply relax and enjoy all that is on offer.
"Take a retreat with Cedar and Kara and experience Paradise!"
The retreat centre is a luxury resort spa, north of Ubud, Bali in a sacred valley in the high country. We are nestled in a natural tropical river valley, enveloped in lush greenery, organic gardens, gentle breeze & birdsong. This setting allows a rare opportunity to truly retreat from the hectic pace of life & immerse in a more natural flow. Here, supported by this healing environment, the lovely Balinese people, and taking part in healing practices each day, you will have the opportunity to enjoy making connections with like-minded new friends and reconnecting with yourself. We set the conditions and support you to come back home to yourSELF.
Each morning begins with a yoga & meditation class in the open air studio, in touch with the vibrant sounds of the jungle. After a delicious organic breakfast, with views of the beautiful Mt. Agung and surrounding mountains, we move in meditation to the wonderful flow of AiChi (water Qigong) in the infinity pool. Afternoons may be spent by the pool, participating in one of the Balinese ceremonies, visiting water temples, creating offerings or elixirs, relaxing or in mediation. The choice is yours, whether to simply relax & Be - perhaps lying on your canopy bed - and to chose the offerings that best suit you. Our schedule for the week also includes a Self Care class (not to be missed) with Kara, RMT; a complimentary Janzu (water healing bodywork) session with Kara; an evening Restorative Yoga with Thai Massage and /or a"Yin & Tonic" (yin yoga with massage) class, and a group session in Aletheia Transformational Breathwork with Cedar. These practices, along with the peaceful, nourishing setting; the gracious, kind and ever-smiling Balinese people, create the conditions for you to revitalize, reawaken, renew & restore in this tropical paradise.
